REGISTER for this interactive invite-only workshop designed to help inform future DOE efforts to accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies for the Control Room of the Future. Through presentations and breakout discussions, utilities, vendors, and innovators will engage with subject matter experts to generate practical insights and recommendations on how grid innovations, including AI and advanced analytics, will shape testing, validation, and operational procedures for next-generation control rooms: Workshop goals include:

  • Inform future DOE research directions.
  • Identify areas of support to utilities and vendors that could accelerate adoption of emerging technologies for the Control Room of the Future.
  • Explore how grid innovations, including emerging AI tools, impacts testbed and validation processes for the Control Room of the Future.

Who Should Attend?

Representatives from utilities, grid hardware and software vendors, power sector consultants, and universities interested in:

  • Advancing technologies for next-generation grid control rooms
  • Understanding emerging risks and resilience challenges for utility operations
  • Identifying opportunities for collaboration with peers and federal research programs
